Lamentations

The Book of Lamentations is set with the background fragmentation of the late 19th century gospel song ""My Life Flows On" by Robert Lowry. The opening line is "My life flows on in endless song, Above earth's lamentation." The hymn ends with the refrain "Since God is Lord of heav'n and earth, How can I keep from singing?" Indeed, even through lamentation, God is Lord, how can I keep from singing?   Listen in Lamentations chapter 3 in the middle (3:30) for the hymn tune "Great is Thy Faithfulness."
